The Puppy Elementary School Course lasts 5 weeks, and places an emphasis on canine social behaviour, team building, and ensuring that your pup has every tool needed to overcome most of life's obstacles. Here, we take an in-depth look at the concepts discussed in the Best Paw Forward Consults, and much more - including obedience!

 

Weekly socialization periods between puppies are monitored by Chip Kean, whose expertise in canine behaviour modification will give you the leg up that you need to recognize and remedy concerns that might impact your puppy's future.

In addition, this course offers many activities and class discussions about the ups and downs of puppy raising. The course covers:

• Resource Guarding

• Potential Triggers for Dog Bites

• Touch Desensitization

• Obedience*

• Polite Greetings In and Out of the Home*

• Impulse Control*

• Walking nicely on leash*

• House Training

• Weekly Socialization Periods*
