K9 GOOD NEIGHBOUR TRAINING COURSE

Five 1 hour weekly sessions.

Private or group class available.

Pre-requisites

Dogs should have the K9 Adolescent Obedience class or equivalent

Current vaccinations

No aggression to  humans or other dogs

 

What you will learn:

The training program prepares you and your dog for the Canine Good Neighbour Test. 

1. Greeting A Friendly Stranger

2. Politely Accepts Petting

3. Non Reactive to Touch (eg. Vet Check-Up)

4. Loose Leash Control

5. Walking Through A Crowd

6. Sit/Down On Command and Stay In Place

7. Come When Called

8. Calming When Excited

9. No Reaction To A Passing Dog

10. No Reaction To Distractions

11. Supervised Isolation

12. Walking Through A Door/Gate
